What got you interested in working in the world of Legacy Home and Estate Services?
I felt it was time for a career change and had known about Legacy and the good work they were doing. I’ve know Dave for years so I reached out and to find out more. I really like what he had to say and the rest is history.
Where did you grow up?
Louisville, KY.
What is your favorite thing you found in a house?
I loved Barbie’s as kid so when we found ones that I had as a child it was pretty awesome. We found an old Barbie play house in home that had just been featured on HGTV. I was so excited to see the same one all intact.
What is the funniest thing you had to tell your friends about in a house?
It’s between the children’s book called the Muffin Muncher or the bed that had mirrors on all sides including the custom built canopy.
We are treasure hunters, what are things you consider a treasure?
Jewelry, classic records, and designer clothing and accessories. I also love finding old Girl Scout items. As a life long Girl Scout it warms my heart to see other people have kept their items and treasured.
Tell us one story that you would love for folks to know about you and your legacy?
I want my legacy to be remembered as someone that gave back. One of the big things that drew me to working with Legacy was how much they give back. From taking the time to donate unsold items to charity or helping local non profits with their charity auctions, it really it hits home. I’m always looking at way to help others. Be that as a Girl Scout Leader, youth Mountain Bike coach, or offering my talents helping where I can to make an impact.
